Vlad has been searching for his mate for a long time and is starting to believe he'll never find her. He's at the point of giving up when he spots Vicci from across the room and is instantly attracted to her. After spending time with her, he decides that she's the one. Now he's just got to convince Vicci that one night of sex could turn into a lifetime of love. DESPERATE AND DATELESS is a hot, sexy romp without a whole lot of relationship building involved. The chemistry between Vlad and Vicci is strong, and I liked the fact that both characters were willing to bend a little to be together. I had a good time reading DESPARATE AND DATELESS, and will be eagerly waiting until the next installment of the series.
