Jack Thomas builds one of those stories that play into the fantasies many of us have on a bad day. Have you ever wished for someone or something to just take away the problems of life and give you a breather? I know I have. We don't know a lot about Selena except that her relationship with Johnny started out well but has gone right into the toilet because of his life choices. He chooses to try to drink away the results of his actions and he's not a nice drunk.

It seems like life has finally given Selena a reason to get away from Johnny. Who knows what will happen in the future with the vet? At least he's a catalyst that helps her have the hope that had seemed to be lacking in her life. The author gives us a tale of eroticism on a stormy night with some depth to his characters.
