After seeing a Civil War era photograph of a couple that look just like the two of them, Gabe is convinced he’s been with Alexis in a previous life. He’s determined to win her affections in this life as well, but Alexis is driven and isn’t sure she’s willing to jeopardize her career.
I gave this story four hearts - it flowed well and kept me interested from the start. I felt like I was there in the story, the description was that good. Gabe is a sexy hero, very attractive, partly because of his confidence. He knows he wants Alexis, and isn’t afraid to pursue her. Alexis, on the other hand, is struggling with her desire for Gabe. I liked both of them because they were so believable. Ms. McKade wasn’t afraid to show them, flaws and all. The chemistry between Gabe and Alexis was incredible and was reflected in their very erotic love scenes. I found myself wanting to see them get their happily ever after, in spite of Alexis’ (legitimate) fears. This was a great story about a timeless love between two very likeable characters. I thought Destiny’s Touch was smart and sexy. Don’t miss this one!
