He is tiny in comparison to Talos and eventually is affectionately referred to as runt. He is a clever little pickpocket and any shiny object quickly catches his attention. He has the whole space station in an uproar not long after his arrival, but he quickly wins over the hearts of everyone he encounters. He finds himself drawn to Talos and quickly offers himself up for his freedom but Talos wants more than just his body. Maymon is unsure about some of the things that Talos wants to do to him because he would have quickly found himself hanging from a rope in his time. Talos is an Oracan bounty hunter. Unable to touch humans due to a chemical reaction that happens when ever their skin comes in contact, he finds his life lonely. He is tall, muscular and feared by many because of his strength and powers but he is gentle and protective of Maymon. He is surprised that he can touch Maymon with causing him harm. Their passionate encounters are creatively written, highly imaginative and amazing in detail due to alien physiology. The sex is so hot it leaves Maymon wondering if he will survive. The storyline is exciting filled with thrilling action that is described in great detail for the reader’s imagination. The romance is sweet and will leave the reader smiling. Details of the Hunt by Laura Baumbach is a thrilling, humor-filled adventure through time.
