| Soleyla is determined to free Rolen’s world from her mother’s regime so that her and Kantou can live in freedom. She’s been working all of Rolen’s villagers to be ready, and it’s turned out to be a lot more work than she imagined. She hasn’t had time for Kantou, and she wants to wait until they are alone and everything is just right before she gives into to her lust for him completely.
Kantou is worried that his mistress doesn’t’ want him anymore. She’s allowed Rolen to have her, but it’s been over a week and he hasn’t had the pleasure. Now it sometime seems that she doesn’t really see him at all, and he’s worried that she might decide to move on to someone new. Will he be able to hold onto his mistress? Soleyla and Kantou have a lot of misunderstandings to get through before they can become the couple they are meant to be. Soleyla never looses her edge throughout the story, and that’s one of the best parts of her character. She is still a dominant, although willing to submit if she must her natural tendency is to dominate the sexual side of her life. Kantou is a natural submissive that is still a strong person in his own right. There is some M/M sex as well as some forced sex that is not for the faint at heart. Devarian Uprising is a great sequel to Devarian Exile, and I can’t wait to see what happens in the final book of the Trilogy, Devarian Revolution.
