| This is the story of two agents in the Homeland Security Department, Ali Donavon and Jack Gunnison. They are partnered for a mission in Bogota, Colombia to do a hit on a terrorist known as the Anaconda, Rodriguez Armondez. Ali is a top gunner. Gun is very knowledgeable about weapons. They pose as a couple, Grey Sweeney and Bambi Malone, who have a lot of money and like to party. Ali fits the profile of classy blue-eyed woman Armondez loves.
The story has all the elements of a blockbuster action movie - exotic locales, beautiful people, the good life in luxurious settings, danger, corruption, excess, excitement. Everywhere they go, Ali and Gun feel undercurrents of danger. It heightens their relationship in every aspect. I loved the adventure of this story, the anticipation of the unknown, the beauty of the settings and the people there. It was very, very exciting. My imagination went wild. The characters of Ali and Gun are intimidating people. They are both forces to be reckoned with and the partnership has some interesting adjustments, both amusing and conflicted, as they settle in to working together. Their story is beautifully written. The part I like best is that I couldn't predict how things would turn out on the mission, on the partnership, on the story altogether. There is so much heat in this story. I hope Ms. Womack will consider using the characters of Ali and Gun again in future adventures.
