| Kevin Winter, also known as “Devil Devlin” or “Devil” has always been a bad boy. When he went off to college, he decided to go by his middle name (Devlin) and he was such a player that he became known as “Devil!” He could have any woman he wanted. After college, he tried to change, but he had trouble finding a woman who loved bondage as he did. As the book started, Kevin was trying to regain his relationship with the beautiful Pam Montgomery, with whom he had previously had a serious liaison. Pam had already moved on and refused his overtures. Kevin knew he was bordering on stalking, but couldn’t seem to help it. When he was caught in Pam’s parents’ backyard by Anna (Pam’s younger sister” he knew he was in serious trouble.
He kidnapped Anna, to keep her from calling the police. That’s how he found out she kind of liked being tied up! What happened next is the plot of this part of the trilogy known as Winter Studs! Not only is Kevin facing Christmas alone since his parents are cruising for their 40th anniversary, but his tendency toward bondage and submission are not the stimulus of most of the women he meets. Ms. Diane Hunter uses her unique writing skills to present this plot which is not for the faint of heart. However, if you’ve ever wondered what bondage entails, this book will certainly open your eyes. Parts of the story are step-by-step instructions of how to tie up the victim! For me, it was a bit much, but for others, I’m sure it’s just right. I recommend the story. It’s fun to read this trilogy from the brothers’ standpoint.
