| Adara has to return to her hometown for the first time in years. Her sister Kari was murdered and left in a ditch. She left behind a five year old daughter. Adara would love to take her in, but her job with the FBI means that she has to travel and work strange hours, not a good situation for a child. Adara fights to get assigned to the team investigating her sister’s murder and the underground porn ring she managed to get herself involved in. Luscious Lingerie models apparently do more than just model the merchandise, and more than one of them has ended up dead. Adara is to pose as a new model. Her supervisor has grave misgivings about Adara and the assignment and is fighting a growing attraction between the two of them.
This is a very suspenseful story with an interesting storyline and a lot of action. Adara and her supervisor Bradley are both charismatic with a lot of chemistry and their relationship moves very quickly from one extreme to the other. The love scene between the two of them was very well done and hot. There are some very good descriptions of Adara’s modeling wardrobe. The villain came as a complete surprise to me after a very exciting climax. No less important is the subplot involving the fate of Adara’s niece CiCi and the less than loving foster home she was placed in. This is a fast moving and involving story that will not disappoint on any level.
