| Abigail Blue was an independent woman who had been taking care of herself since she came to Kentucky four years ago. An ill-fated marriage to a man who was more interested in his social status almost destroyed Abby and her business back in Texas. Here in Kentucky she started over again doing what she loved the best, training horses.
Chase Dymond, only son of Percival Dymond head of Dymond Enterprises, had come back to Kentucky to take over the family business since the elder Dymond wanted to pursue his hobby, horse racing. He had gone out to celebrate with friends the night before and when he told the taxi driver to drive him home the driver left him at the wrong ranch. It was a still not too sober Chase Dymond who wandered out of the stall as Abby was brushing one of her horses that morning. Not expecting anyone and frightened out of her wits she reached for the only weapon she had which was the brush and knocked Chase out. When he awakens he sees the face of Abby over him, he finds it's a pleasant face indeed. It's Abby who helps him to the house and after he sobers up she reluctantly agrees to take him to his family's home. Abby is not on the best terms with Chase's father after winning a race against him the last time, when his horse was the favorite to win. Adding to the fact that at the house was according to gossip Chase's fiancee Georgia Tiessen, a Texas socialite and in the eyes of the perfect match for Chase. Chase on the other hand had come back to Kentucky to help the family business but after seeing Abby he seemed to have an interest in horses. So much that he purchases one just to have Abby train it and a means to stay close to this woman he found a interest in. Though Georgia really knew that this alleged engagement was not for love she still was not about to give up the Dymond boy and would do all in her power to cause destruction to Abby. It's up to Chase to decide if he wants spend his life making his parents happy or choose Abby and find his happiness. A story that has the reader falling in love with these two from the first page. You know they were meant to be together and it's the process that shows the road they will travel to find out that they are in love. A love story that can be read over and over again.
