As leader of the band of men who follow him to rid the earth of the evil ones who prey on the innocent. Kenric will face so much more pain and betrayal and I felt the anguish he had to endure. His meeting with Emily was not something he needed at the point in his life, but it was the best thing that could happen to her. She will find strength and an iron will to help Kenric face the one who had made him into what he is. This book is such a great paranormal story, the evil Marguerite is a great secondary character in this story, and the sexual scenes were an added bonus to this enticing book. The dramatic scenes that unfolds between the pages are so real. I like the way the author Jessica Lee portrays each character's personality and made this story one to enjoy.
