| Lady Mildred Derby writes spicy novels that both shock
and titillate Regency London. She loves writing at
her secluded home, Derby Hill, where her peculiar
tastes in food and sex can be satisfied. Edward
Longsmith, her butler, takes care of her sexual needs,
but he’s not a willing participant. Lady Mildred
regularly gives him a special tonic that keeps him
biddable. Her cook eagerly prepares the unusual
dishes she prefers, so there’s no need to use the
tonic on her. Unfortunately, the larder is almost
bare and the food to replenish it is scarce. Lady
Mildred comes up with an ingenious, yet sinister plan
in order to refill it.
Cassie Turner and her friends, Ann and Bethany, are devoted fans of Lady Mildred’s books, so when they get a chance to visit her, they are thrilled. But soon after their arrival, Cassie senses there’s something strange going on at Derby Hill, and she knows it’s something evil. The only person who can help Cassie and her friends escape is Edward, but before he can help, Edward needs Cassie’s help to break the hold Lady Mildred has on him. DINNER IS SERVED isn’t your typical romantic story. It’s a chilling, graphic horror story with just a touch of romance added in. The sex scenes are hot and arousing, just what fans expect from Ms. Kelly. The brilliant plot flows smoothly and surprises you with its many shocking twists. While DINNER IS SERVED probably isn’t right for the average romance reader, it’s the perfect choice for someone who enjoys spine-tingling horror.
