| Dirty Dancing (Volume 2 of The Sextet Anthology) contains three short stories revolving around dancing.
"Lessons in Love" by Elizabeth Raines is a ménage contemporary romance. Craig and Juliana agree to learn the romantic rumba for a charity dance competition. Their instructor, Alejandro, tells them that accepting their mutual attraction will improve their dancing. But after they make love, something is still missing: Alejandro. -- I found this one a bit slow but sexy. The reservations they have about a three-person relationship, with Craig and Juliana’s acting careers on the line, seemed very real. "The Boys in the Band" by Cheryl Brooks is a multiple ménage. Geneva, an American, inherits a Welsh pub. She tried to keep everything running the same way as before, including the live band on Saturday night. But the four "boys in the band" want something to change. They want Gen as their lover. -- A bit over the top with very explicit group sex. It seemed to me to be a pretty outrageous situation for a small Welsh town. "Learning Curve" by Mellanie Szereto is another ménage story, and my favorite of the three. Laynie is a small town accountant with a second job, teaching pole dancing to local women. Reese and Brand Hilliard both love Laynie but don’t know what they will do when, or if, she chooses one over the other. -- Ms. Szereto did an excellent job in making these characters real for me. I liked the way each of the three faced the challenging situation and their own feelings, and the results. Very nicely done. Overall, the book is well written. If you like ménage stories, you’ll enjoy this Sextet Anthology as well as Volume 1: "Sharing".
