One would think that with a state trooper as a boyfriend, all the cops in Providence taking her class, and an upstairs tenant who's in the FBI Vinnie Esposito would be the safest person in Rhode Island. But that doesn't take into account her aunt who likes to date men in the mob and her penchant for having trouble find her wherever she goes.

JM Griffin gives us an excellent adventure and suspense in the unique setting of western Rhode Island. The author lets us live as Vinnie, the feisty heroine for a little while. And believe me when I say a little while is all I could handle living her life! She starts out with wrecking her car in rush hour traffic, tangles with the mob and is pursued by a creepy guy who ended up incarcerated in a mental hospital the last time he tangled with her. One would think that would be enough to slow her down but she's not good at following the advice of the guys who care about her. She's threatened, has to fight her way out of situations, and tends to always end up in the middle of the action surrounding her. This is an action packed read filled with humor, sexy men, and some of the best characters you'd ever want to see in a story.
