| The Queens of Merab 2: The Discovery is the story of Nuriel, the Princess of Zirah, and her First Consort Ze'ev. In this continuation story, the pair are already mated, though the princess has not come into her birthright. Even though she has overcome the misery of her horrible past through Ze'ev's love, she has not yet felt her connection to the canines of the land.
This is a follow-up book in the series and one really needs to read the previous ones to fully understand. If you're merely looking for steamy sex, this book can provide it on its own. I would recommend reading the others in the series, though. The hero and heroine seem to be a good fit for each other and are well-written. She's vulnerable but seems to have a strong core inside her that the authors bring out. He is ferocious even in a society that is run by women but has a soft side that is immediately in evidence when it comes to his wife. The pair plays off each other very well and come across as well-thought out characters. Overall, I really enjoyed reading this story and look forward to more.
