Juvia was a fierce warrior for her Mother’s army. She had thought she might even lead the clan one day, but because of her weakness, her passionate nature, that dream would never be realized. Now, she still battled for her Mother, but always away from the battle pack. On her own, the help she gave never notice.

But her prowess in battle is not enough and she is taken prisoner. Forced to meet the sexual needs of her captors, she obeys them, needing the strong presence of a man inside her more than she needed her pride.

Jurel couldn’t figure out the little warrior. She was beyond his experience and he didn’t trust her. But he couldn’t deny his desire for her. The more he took her, the more he had to have her. First, though, he needed to know her story: how had she come to be so opposite her sisterhood.

One thing he already knew: he wanted her always. Bound to him forever.

This world is interesting and very complex. I loved Jurel and Juvia/Veltina know so little about the culture of the other. Very true to societies everywhere, thus there was a wonderful touch of realism. I highly recommend this work. My only complaint was that I would have liked to experienced more at the end. Congratulations to Ms. Lyons on a wonderful work.
