| Vampires Glynna and Brandt and their companion Erik thought Alaska would make the perfect winter getaway. The hours of dark are long and there’s a large enough population that they could blend in with that has an active nightlife. But what they don’t count on is the affect of all that snow when they get snowed in. Their concern soon becomes what to do if Erik gets hungry. The best way to deal seems to be to distract him. And what fun it is.
Looking for something to distract you from the cold snowy winter weather? While Erik needs a distraction from their situation, this book also makes for a great distraction for readers from the heavy snows and coldness of the winter. Although this book is a quick read, it does a great job of turning up the heat and cranking up your heartbeat in just a few pages. Glynna and Brandt are delicious as vampires. Erik’s human qualities helps to ground the trio. Together they are the perfect balance. Distraction is the kind of book that wets your appetite and leaves you satisfied, yet craving more. I hope that one day we will get to read more of these characters. How they met has got to be one interesting story, but for now, Distraction is one spicy little book that will get your blood pumping.
