| Senator Prescott's daughter Heather was tired of the secret service always following her. For the third time in a month, she ditched them at the mall. As she drove away in her BMW, she relaxed -- until she realized someone was following her. They rammed her car off the road into a tree. Once her father found out she was in danger because of his activities, he hired her former bodyguard, Walker. Walker was her guard when she was twelve until she turned eighteen and he fell in love with her. Feeling a relationship was inappropriate, he assigned a different agent to guard her. Seven years later, with her life in danger, Walker once again becomes her bodyguard. And once again the sparks fly on both sides.
I felt this story was too short to have a really good suspenseful build up until the climax. When this happens, parts of the plot seems to be missing or rushed. I could definitely sympathize with Heather. Being watched and followed all the time would definitely want to make you rebel. Walker was a strong character but I felt the senator should of been more of a dominant person since it was he who caused the problems in the first place. The sex scenes added a nice dimension to the story which probably would of fizzled without them.
