| When the hospital she works at is closed for lack of funding her paramour, Dr. Max Fenton, gets Dr. Helen Dawson a job at a private clinic that serves only the rich and famous. Before the first day is out Helen realizes she may be in a situation that is out of her control. The first person she runs into is Sandra Pope, a woman she had a brief affair with as a teenager. Sandra has changed. As Helen tries to solve a mystery the sexual activities that surround her are too much for her to pass up.
Deanna Ashford has penned a virtual cornucopia of sexual activity that covers all spectrums of behavior. Men with men, females together, threesomes, foursomes, bondage, domination, submission, the activities the staff and patients at this private clinic engage in seems to have no limits. Through it all a few people manage to find something even more important than the next orgasm that may wait for them on the next page. Zara, an aging actress trying to stay youthful looking loses one man only to find another who appreciates what she is. Others seem to enjoy the smorgasbord of different partners that surround them. Helen herself is threatened at every turn by the sexual activity that draws her and the people who may be up to no good. As a sleuth she takes a lot of chances to find out what's really going on at the clinic. For those who enjoy eroticism on every page this book is for you. It's not for the squeamish as the domination and submission activities become very explicit. There's a good mystery woven throughout the sexual activity that keeps the book from becoming just another fantasy novel. Ms. Ashford pulls out all the stops to make this very sexual and pens a good suspense novel at the same time.
