| Lily suffers from low self-esteem since her divorce from her husband who blamed their failed marriage on her. Being a tad overweight, she finds it impossible to believe that she would be desirable to the opposite sex and thus hasn't had sex since her husband ran off with his boyfriend.
Luke is an alien from the planet Dalcon. He comes to Earth to escape his boring royal life and strike out as a businessman. When he meets Lily, he is immediately smitten but she is forbidden fruit since she is an Earthling. Nevertheless, Luke's libido kicks into overdrive every time she is near and he has no choice but to act on his passion or walk around acutely uncomfortable. Not to mention, there's Killer the talking dog who tries to thwart Luke's every advance towards Lily. What's a horny alien to do? Never Send A Dog To Do A Woman's Job is the sequel to Talking Dogs, Aliens and Purple People Eaters and it is my favorite romance comedy series. Ms. Munro revisits all of the characters from her first book and adds uber sexy Luke to the mix. Lily is an engaging heroine, intelligent, charming and witty. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Lily and Luke's adventures especially when those adventures took a sensual turn. I appreciated Luke's care with Lily and how he rebuilt her self-esteem and made her feel desirable again. If you enjoy erotic comedies, Never Send A Dog To Do A Woman's Job is not to be missed. While it can be read alone, reading the first in the series will add to the reader's enjoyment of the book.
