Desdemona Smitrovitch, alias, Desi, finds herself in a pickle of a spot. First off she owes many apologizes for centuries of murder, she has committed, or has she? It is a mystery, so mysterious that even her clan has deserted her. Because of her actions, she has been given to Jarrod Stanislavski. That is fine with Jarrod because he believes she is his Life Mate and deep down he feels he can bring out the best in Desi. He has deep feelings for her. There has to be a reason she behaves the way she does. Instead of flogging her or any intense punishment to break the bad girl, the best medicine he feels will help is passion. Desi feels the bad girl image is her and no one can break the mold she has created all these years. With the banging voice inside her head, she is unable to help Jarrod figure out the consequences she has done. Jarrod has no idea if he can dig deep enough to bring out the naughty girl. Either way he refuses to give up until he can find a way to control her vicious activities and redeem her to be his always.

Vampire Thing 2: Doing Desi is a hoot. Oh, bad girl Desi is so intense that from the first page to the last, she had me spellbound in her actions. The dialogue keeps the reader’s interest and Jarrod has such a sweet charm to him that oozes through the storyline. Jarrod brings out a different individual with Desi. Dakota Cassidy delivers a story on trust with someone who feels that she will never find it with anyone. I love how she sketched Desi to be forthright and strong in her actions. She creates a fast flowing story with some wit, some hot action and wonderful imagination that stirs the mind.
