| When dashing warlock Thomas Darcy suddenly appears in Mariette Jane's home, announcing he needs her help, she knows he is lying. As a facilitator between worlds, she is used to supernatural beings seeking her aid, but this man is different. His story does not ring true. So what's going on and why is she suddenly having hot, delicious sex with the hunky warlock?
Thomas is immediately intrigued by Mariette. Though he'd been sent on a mission to subdue the quirky witch, he has no idea why, since he all he'd been told was that she presented a threat to all warlock-kind. But it's hard to subdue someone you want to lick all over. The more he's with Mariette, the deeper Thomas becomes involved, until saving her becomes his prime objective. Amarinda Jones's novella starts out hot, and gets hotter as the story progresses. From the point when they first set eyes on each other, Thomas and Mariette are attracted in ways that keep them naked for nearly the entire story. Though Mariette attempts to get to the truth as to why Thomas had sought her out in the first place, she barely gets a question out before Thomas begins undressing her and they begin again. Even so, Thomas is the one who helps Mariette discover and utilize the full extent of her powers. Mariette is smart, funny and cute and Thomas is thoroughly enchanted by her. I really liked their by play, and I loved all of Mariette's inner asides that reflected her self-deprecating humor. She would be someone I would like to know personally. In addition, Ms. Jones's secondary characters add spice to the mix. I highly recommend I Don't Think So to readers who enjoy romantic romps with a lot of hot sex.
