Sonya Mitchell doesn't know the meaning of the word, team player. For years she has worked undercover, alone. Now the professional and highly skilled woman learns the controller is putting together a new operational team making her part of it. She can't believe she must work with a team of men. Her first mission sends her to David Knight, someone she must put her trust in. How can she even consider trusting someone she only met? David knows about Sonya and her work. He also knows it will take hard work to earn her trust. The mission is just a complicated sting operation to try to find the mole. Sonya is more like the bait and David, her insurance policy. Finding the mole is only the first step in proving her worth with the team. When that mission is over, it becomes more complicated, with the AFM, when it appears there may be another mole in the pot. Sonya has other worries when her feelings start to grow for David after spending a few pleasant evenings together. It has been a long time since she felt so leisurely comfortable in a man's company. She needs to sort out things in her head but one little misjudgment could turn deadly as the two work together to try to find the culprit.

Double Deception is a suspenseful read that is definitely a page-turner. I thought the plot was wonderfully crafted and the characters are awesome. I love the strength that Sonya carries around with her everyday. I never anticipated so many roller coaster twists and turns which really made the story even more intriguing. The way Sonya interacts with David is greatly done. Heather Reilly molds multi-characters in the storyline making everything more in-depth and quite entertaining. This stimulating read keeps going like the energizer bunny never once disappointing this reader. I look forward to more of her spellbinding tales.
