| Kendall had never had such a strong reaction to a man in her life. Now she finds that two have captured her attention like nothing else ever has. Sutter and Josh are more than she ever expected to find herself with, but here she is. In their arms. In their bed. But will they find happiness together or will they be torn apart by a world that doesn't understand their unique bond?
The premise of this story is a good one; three people in love, bound by a psychic link. The problem I had was this idea wasn't followed through. Ms. Bo used the psychic bond to enhance the sex and to form their unique bond from the beginning, but she didn't follow her own rules. Sometimes the characters are able to sense the feelings of the others from a distance, sometimes only when they are touching. Also, the sexual play overshadowed the story in a big way. More than 3/4 of the book was the three of them having sex. After a while, I found I had to force myself not to skip through the sex scenes. Which is really a shame because some of them were quite good. Several of them, though, were a bit anticlimactic. I found loads of sexual tension and arousal with little release. The finish to several scenes could have said nothing more than " . . . and then they all climaxed together." I was left wanting on several occasions. Also, each scene, without exception, had multiple point of view changes. I felt like I was bounced from one character to another with little or no warning. There were very minor characters I felt I had no reason to be seeing through the eyes of and it was very distracting. On the up side, Ms. Bo allows her characters to explore aspects of the ménage that most don't. She allowed her male characters interact. The way she accomplished this made for some very sexy and hot scenes. It is something that I don't think many people could pull off as well as she did. All in all, perhaps a dissatisfying read but this work did have its moments.
