Claire Waters has a reason for living in a brothel keeping a low profile. After being badly beaten she needs refuge to hide from a man that puts extreme fear in her. When she is reunited with Logan will she open her heart and explain the real reason she is disguised as a fancy girl or will she allow him to believe the worst?

Logan Ryan sets out to locate Claire. He is shocked when he finds her coming out of a saloon dressed as a prostitute. It is a feeling that is most painful. After he realizes the real reason she is there, he decides to stay and help her. Will he finally be able to express his true feelings to Claire or will disaster strike keeping them apart?

The Dove is a definite must read. I absolutely loved the character of Logan. He proved his love to Claire in more ways than one and you could feel his emotions all throughout the book. I liked the way Claire felt so protected by Logan. This book is captivating, full of strength and highly charged with tender passion.

Ms. McCaffrey writes from the heart. The emotions she displays in the book dazzle and ignites in every page. This is my first book by Ms. McCaffrey and it promises not to be my last. She made me experience all the sensations in the story. This talented author is indeed gifted in every sense of the word! This book is truly a work of art and a keeper!
