Slow Ride
Daniel has lusted after Maggie for many years, ever since working with her husband as a teenager. Now her husband has passed away, and Danny is back at her struggling ranch, still feeling the same lust for her he has always had. Only this time, there is nothing standing in his way of going after Maggie.

Great story of younger man pursuing the older woman – one with all the hang-ups about how her body changes as she matures. Danny does an excellent job showing Maggie just how desirable her body can be.

Straight Up Soldier
Mac is recovering from a bomb that damaged one of his legs when a good friend, Tara, asked him to check on a friend of hers, Suki, who is hiding out from an abusive ex. Once Mac and Suki meet, the attraction is instantaneous. Mac vows to keep her safe no matter what, and has to keep his vow much sooner than he hoped for.

This novella had more suspense mixed in with the love story. I loved how Suki is a strong capable woman at the end of her rope when Mac comes riding to the rescue. It is interesting to see who is rescuing who.

All three stories were full of passion and love, hot enough to singe even the most devout cowboy! Readers get a taste of how a real cowboy lives his life by hard work and hard loving! The connection between the stories make them all more interesting, and I would like to see matchmaking Tara get her own happily ever after with glimpses of the future for the three couples from this book.
