Sherrill Quinn gives us an excellent story of the realities of life in fantasy form. Two sisters, the last of their Druid line, are not willing to settle for less than the best, no matter what the cost. Their dragon mates think humor or stubbornness will win the day. And if that doesn’t do it, sex will.

The author helps the guys learn the hard way that, without love and trust, the lust, sex and their testosterone level doesn’t mean much.

This is a powerful story with excellent dialogue and characterizations. Leilani and Zander are so well painted with Ms. Quinn’s words that we can just see the set of their jaw, the fire in their eyes and their stubborn demeanor. Gerszon is typical evil. The author’s tongue in cheek description of him as a small man with delusions of grandeur is priceless. Still, evil can defeat good. This writer keeps us guessing whether Zander can put away his chauvinistic behavior to win his woman and help save the world.
