| Kaya is a buyer for a small shop, when one day she is at an auction and a man out bid her on a plate that she really wanted. She knew it was valuable, and had hoped to get it for far less than it was worth. The man beat her to it, but she was not too disappointed, especially when he seemed to be interested in her.
Jestin has been waiting for a long time for a woman like Kaya. Ever since his wife died long ago, he'd been lonely beyond words. When he saw Kaya, she sparked an instant attraction. Now if she could just pass the tests required to be his mate, she will be his. Dragons and Dungeons felt a little rushed to me, and I had a hard time believing that the characters really cared about each other. Kaya appeared a little simple to me, I couldn't believe just how naive she acted when she was with Jestin. Jestin didn't really seem to have much of a personality, but even so the two hit it off like wildfire despite this. There is a little bit of spanking and some wild sex in this story, but it's relatively tame when it comes to BDSM. I thought that it had an interesting story line that could have been something great if the two characters had a little more chemistry together. Dragons and Dungeons had a lot going for it, and if you want to read something a little out of the ordinary you should give this one a try.
