| Ry kidnapped Brighid, thinking she had information about his Kaida. Brighid, even though she’s held captive and tied to the bed, has developed unusual lustful feelings for Ry and will do anything to relieve the arousal she feels when Ry is around. She knows it is wrong to have these feelings for Ry when it is obvious his intended mate would be Kaida. When they realize they are both mistaken, will Ry be put to death for kidnapping Brighid, or is there are more sinister plot to contend with?
I haven’t read the first book in this series so parts of this book were a little unclear to me, however, they were interesting enough to make me want to go back and read the first story and anticipate the story after Dragon’s Captive. Dragon’s Captive is a short story full of action, whether in the bedroom or your imagination. The sexual tension starts out strong and is written very graphically and to the point. I loved how the author did not play around with the feelings, but let us know what Brighid was experiencing. I really enjoy series so I’m looking forward to reading more about the Dragon Kin.
