I could not help but fall in love with Mona and Braeden. The two have gone through so much growing up and now are trying to find a life for themselves. Yet they must not only find their own way but also find a way to save the inhabitants of Mona's world. Braeden may come off as a jerk but deep down inside he is a good man. I loved seeing him change for the better when he begins to have feelings for Mona, who begins her adventure as a naive young woman but at the end of her journey she has learned so much. Watching Mona grow into herself and become a woman who can stand on her own was a great read. I enjoyed watching the two learn about themselves and seeing their bond grow. The two make a good couple and show that together they can do anything. Sandra Sookoo does a wonderful job of bringing the reader into her magical world of the paranormal. I found myself lost in a wondrous world full of dragons and more. This book was an engrossing read full of vibrant characters that shone right off of the pages. I cannot wait to see whom we get to visit next in this series.
