Lady Syrena, daughter of Lady Katherine, has awakened her Dragonstone. It is pink and means that she's a Beast Master. But Lady Syrena is having problems mastering her skills. It just doesn't seem to be working. Can she figure it out in time to save her world from the evil dragon Kyron before it is too late?

This is a continuation of the book Dragonstone. Lady Syrena is the daughter of Queen Katherine and King Logan and is impatient to start using her powers as a Beast Master. She meets a man name Blaze, who is really Kyron's son Raighon, and a dragon himself. He kidnaps Syrena and is planning to take her to his father to right a wrong that was done to his family by her grandfather, Pythagoron. In their journey from her home to Kyron, they face many challenges that soon create a bond between Syrena and Blaze. They encounter Elven warriors and Ventors, creatures that feed on lava streams.

Once they finally reach their destination, Blaze is ordered to teach Syrena how to channel her power and control many different beasts so that she can aid his father in his quest to right the wrong done. During this time, Blaze realizes that his father lied to him and twisted the events from his past. Blaze works to get Syrena away from his father and to show her what he is really after. Kyron wants the ultimate black Dragonstone so that he may rule all of the lands. But Kyron has managed to convince Syrena that with her help, she will get the stone and then she will be a very powerful Beast Master and be able to help her people better.

This journey finally brings Blaze and Syrena together and helps her to uncover her true identity. The characters that they know and the ones they meet along the way help to create a wonderful story about the fight between good and evil and how with understanding and love, they can make the right choices.

Once again Ms. Young has created a story that you can really get involved in. The creatures and characters come alive on the pages and it is really hard to put this book down until you reach the end. I really look forward to reading more stories by Ms. Young.
