This story started out wonderfully; the heroine was strong and powerful, just how I like my female leads to be. Maya didn’t take any prisoners, and that kind of attitude was something I really appreciated, especially since she was raised so hard. Eric was a difficult person to like at first, but once you understand the couple’s history it all starts to come together in a spectacular way. I thought the story felt a little rushed at the end, but it didn’t really detract from the story that much. If you like plenty of action, adventure, and hot sex, this one has it all, and it shouldn’t be missed. I’ll definitely be looking for more from this talented author.
