Rianne is lonely and isolated, all because she's a very powerful witch who had killed in self defense when she was young. Because of her enormous talents, she had to leave her small town to get training for her gifts after the disaster. While she was gone her legend grew to frightening heights. Now people are either suspicious or afraid of her and she has no one that she really trusts or is a close friend. She lives in the forest by herself, and rarely comes into town because it makes her uncomfortable. One day, while wandering around her forest, she finds a man named Rah that isn't intimidated by her… as a matter of fact he seems to want her very badly. The problem? Rah has a woman that he answers too, and it's not Rianne.

Eilrah is a dragon, but after bonding with his priestess finds himself turning into another form more and more often, that of a human. As a human, he has sexual desires that he has to sate before he can go back to his true form as a dragon. He's not found a woman that would make him want to stay in his human form, until he meets the wild witch woman Rianne.

Rianne is a great character that I could really feel sympathy for. She had reasons for being the way she was and she seems to deal with it just fine. She has a real problem with her lover answering to another woman and I could certainly see her point. I could see where Rah would intrigue her; he's not afraid of her and wants her power and all. Rah is confused about his feelings for her, all he knows is that he can't seem to do without her, in bed or out. I loved the interaction between the two, and the chemistry between the two burns up the pages. I found that The Dragon's Woman is a wonderful story that combines lust and love in a truly riveting story that I won't soon forget.
