| Eric Gordon, a computer science professor, is tasked with finding the hacker messing up university computers and embezzling funds. What he finds is evidence of a large lizard living in tunnels under the school. Knowing she will think he is crazy, Eric seeks the advice and help of a biology professor, Lori Tremain. What they find is incredible chemistry and a very unusual mystery that may prove to be dangerous and unbelievable.
I loved the characters of Eric and Lori in this charming yet suspenseful paranormal romance. Eric has the potential to be the ultimate geek but somehow he is more than that. He has charm and sex appeal despite his job and extreme intelligence. Lori also could be the ultimate geek as a biology professor that studies lizards but she is delightfully witty and packaged in a sexy body that has men turning their heads even if she is oblivious. I also enjoyed the friends the couple pull into their adventure and would love to see another book involving some of the secondary characters especially the dragon, Drake, they discover living under the campus. But finding Drake doesn’t answer all the questions in this story, it just introduces more. If Drake isn’t the criminal that is stealing from the university and threatening Eric and Lori, than who is? The plot in this story is full of twist and turns that keeps the reader poised at the edge of their seat trying to out guess where the author is headed. I thoroughly enjoyed this engaging story and hope there will be more like this!
