Jamie and Paul Elliott come to St. Lucia to start not only new jobs, but hopefully a new life. The moment Jamie landed on the island she felt she had been there before. A strong power seemed to take hold of her and soon she was having dreams she hadn't had since she was a child. Unexplainable dreams that left her with so many questions and no one to answer them.

Her first meeting with Andre Demontagne seemed to be one of mixed emotions. It was as if they had met before. The powers of the island for some reason kept these two close to each other.

Andre was a Demontagne whose family history stems from the French Revolution. It was in 1789 when Anne Cecile Diamont took her twin boys and fled France for the island of St. Lucia. During a revolt on the island Anne - Cecile, her children and servants tried to escape. Only Philippe made it to the boat, the others remained in hiding. Years passed and no one knew what had happened to Phillippe. After all these centuries the island and the answer has come back.

The story opens with just a touch of the mystery that will unravel as the plot continues. Jamie Elliott was destined to come to St. Lucia and complete the circle that was broken centuries ago. Captivating as well as well plotted the reader will have no problem becoming engrossed in the story and want to read more. A book that will never be out of date no matter when you pick it up and a story that will live on. Can't wait for the sequel.
