Mackenzie Richardson has been having some of the most sizzling, sinfully delicious, fantasy dreams imaginable. They were also a little scary. Her fantasy lover was just way too real and left her feeling even lonelier than before. If he were only real, then she could get some long over due sexual release and get back to normal. Her dreams were so real, at times she thought she could smell the sea and feel the motion of the ship under her feet.

Aaron Masters is the captain of the ship Wandezez. He has been plagued for countless nights by the beautiful witch in his dreams. She called to him and tortured his every moment. Who is she? Why wouldn’t she leave him alone? He was going to lose his mind if she didn’t stop. Aaron’s torture wasn’t just because of the dreams, but because she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen and he wanted her more than anything. He needed her but how could one need a dream.

Then one night Mac’s dream lover became real and he swept her back in time to his world. One minute she’s standing in her kitchen and the next she woke up to find herself bound and gag. Where was she? As she looks around Mac realizes she is on the ship from her dreams. Then Mac here’s footsteps, the door opens and in walks her dream lover.

Aaron doesn’t understand how this has happened, she must be a witch, and that didn’t bode well in Salem. They didn’t burn witches anymore, but they did still hang them. Aaron knows if the men find Mac on board it could be very ugly; six months on a ship without a woman could put Mac in serious danger. Aaron also knew he had taken Mac’s virginity; he was honor bond to marry her and protect her.

By the time Aaron and Mackenzie docked at Boston harbor, Aaron knows he can never let her go, he loves Mac. But how could he stop what ever it was that brought her to him when he didn’t know how it happened to begin with? Mac wasn’t about to let Aaron go either. Now that she had him she could never live without him.

But this isn’t the only problem they faced; there is a possibility that war is close at hand. Aaron has enemies that would use Mac as a means to discredit him. And Aaron has a deadly enemy; his name is Jacque Dubois. Dubois is a pirate and wants Aaron dead. When Dubois sees Mac he is consumed with lust for her. He plots to take her; the fact that it will torture Aaron to think he has put his hands on her just makes it sweeter.

To throw the authorities off his trail, Dubois accuses Aaron and Mac of piracy and sends the military after them.

Having been separated by the void that tried to take Mac back, a man named Nick Travis finds Mac unconscious. When she comes to she has amnesia. Nick, who’s real name is Lord Nicolas Chamberlain a spy for the crown, takes one look at Mac and falls in love with her. He decides to keep her for himself at any cost, even by force if necessary.

Will Aaron find Mac before its to late and the void takes her from him forever? How far and by what force will Nick go to take what isn’t his?

From the first paragraph to the words The End, I was totally captivated by Aaron and Mackenzie’s story. There wasn’t one single page that didn’t keep me spellbound in this very sensual and loving story. We each keep hoping that one day we will find that one true love, a love that can withstand all odds, even time itself. Jewel Adams has written such a story which will bring tears to your eyes and joy in your heart. You won’t be able to put this one down until you’re finished and even then you’ll want to start all over again. I could feel the love and passion between our hero and heroine right to my soul. I will be watching for more of Jewel Adam’s books. This one goes on my keeper shelf so I can enjoy it again and again. I give you Five Hearts Ms. Adams and a very big thank you for hours of enjoyment.
