| Laurel is on a mission of discovery. She's intensely curious about a planet that her people have been banned from exploring and is determined to investigate it on her own. To that end, she's bought a ship and supplies and decides to fake a crash landing on the planet. While trying to study the primitive people of the planet, she meets Faine, the leader of the natives. He's not at all what she expected, but then neither are the people of this not so primitive planet.
Dream Warriors is an intriguing story of a woman who is incredibly naive and the trouble she gets into because of it. Laurel is the kind of person that you just want to shake your head at. She blithely moves about, without care to what she may be destroying on the way. You can't help but like her, because you know she doesn't really mean anything by it. The conversations into her recorder are pretty humorous, and she is a very likeable character. Faine is the man who finds her; he's had a dream that she's his destined mate. When he first meets her, he's not to sure that her being his intended mate is really a good thing, regardless of what fate wants. They are both convinced that the other is a primitive species that must be handled with care, which makes the interactions between the two pretty amusing. They have a lot of chemistry, and the passion between the two is sizzling. I didn't think that there was as much sex as I am used to seeing in erotica, but the story didn't seem to need it. The only problem I had was the ending, there seemed to be an abrupt personality change in one of the characters, as well as feeling like it ended suddenly. Overall, it's a great story that will have you laughing out loud at times, and is well worth the time to read.
