| Darcie Clark is happy with her life in an isolated area of Ontario. She enjoys the peace and quiet that allows her to paint what and when she wants. Finding an injured lion in the forest near her cabin turns her life around. Duau is one of a pair of identical twins, an Egyptian god who has been sent to the mortal realm by a demon. Finding his soul mate in Darcie was an unexpected bonus.
Marisa Chenery continues this shifter series where she left it in book three. Darcie and Duau are perfect for one another in and out of bed. There's plenty of the same great eroticism found in the first three installments. It seems this one ran out of steam a little with a demon who isn¡t as demonic as the one Duau's brother had to deal with and too much predictability. Almost identical duplication of details is fun with identical gorgeous men but repetition from the prior book slowed me down and caused my interest to waver from the story. Still, it's an erotic tale of true love being won the hard way.
