| Merry can't remember her life prior to waking up in a Malaysian hospital after the Tsunami hit. Her uncle Bill bought her home and since then, she's led a quiet life. That changes the moment she finds herself kidnapped along with a stranger, bound and left in a shack. The stranger who is insistent that she's someone else and that they've met before.
Caesar has spent a long time trying to find Samantha aka Merry. Now that he's found her, he's determined to find out who tried to kill her and he has a sneaking suspicion who was involved. They were long term lovers prior to her last mission and he wants her back. Though she looks the same, Merry is the total opposite of his Samantha and getting her to believe him isn't going to be easy. As the title suggests, this novella is all about spies, lies, and not forgetting to throw in the duct tape. The story starts with a hook and doesn't let go. The opening scenes and conversation between the Merry and Caesar is absolutely hilarious, the clever one-liners and innuendo had me in hysterics. But it doesn't stop after the initial chapters. It continues right through to the end. Lyn Cash certainly knows how to keep the reader entertained and does it in spades. Her characters are adorable. Tension in all its forms is tight and engages all the reader's senses. This fabulously engaging novel is definitely a recommended read.
