This is the continuation of Evan and Matt's story. Matt and Evan are now living together and trying to make their lives work as a same sex couple with a family. Evan, while very much in love with Matt, is struggling with being considered gay and everything that goes along with it. Matt is fine with being gay but is not sure he is happy being a househusband. The men get some help from an unexpected source but can Matt and Evan make their happily ever after work while trying to figure out who they really are and what they really want?

This is one of those rare sequels that is as good as the first. This story starts off with the end of "Faith and Fidelity." The plot, while not fast paced, does keep the readers' attention. While both men have come to a sort of crossroads in their lives, this story I feel is mostly about Evan and his insecurities and fears with being labeled as gay in his personal and professional life. I think the author handles both of the men's concerns realistically, especially Evan's which makes that story all the better because you can't help but want them to work through this. I did have one little problem. Even though Evan's angst was believable, it annoyed me at times just like it did Matt. The characters are well developed and we are given a little more insight in some of the sub-characters. There are some hot m/m scenes that fit in with the book wonderfully. I hope that the author will write one more book with all the characters so we can see how things worked out in the future.
