This was one fabulous read! This story had loads of steamy scenes and plenty of emotional connections. Mac is one sexy alpha male and I swear I lost my heart to him especially when the details of his mother's illness were disclosed. Callie is the type of heroine we can aspire to be, someone who has had enough and decides to take a stand against her abusive ex. This couple was perfect for each other, bringing out their authentic selves. I enjoyed the secondary characters and would love to see Ashley get her own story, perhaps with Jase or another attractive cowboy. The plot and pace were good and I hated to see the story come to an end. This is one story I know I will read over and over again.
