Tori Mayhue loved everything about Tombstone, its history and fame were her fondest memories of growing up. Maybe that's why she came back after her marriage ended. Tori was happy when her Aunt Pheobe invited her to open a photo gallery next door to her antique shop.

After her aunt's death Tori helped her uncle Will run the shop as well as her own as there were always tourists who were interested in the history of the town. Though her work was good she still seemed to feel she didn't capture the true feelings of Tombstone back in the 1800's.

When the position of town historian became available she tried to talk her uncle Will into trying for the job, he seemed to know more on the history of the town then those born and raised here. Will Barcley's arrival in Tombstone was a mystery, he was found in the cemetery with a bullet hole in him. He couldn't tell them how he got there or where he was from. A good friend and local seer Evelyn suggested that she go back in time to see the town the way it was back then. With Evelyn's guidance Tori goes back under hypnosis and finds that she not only goes back but has found the portal that she can drift back to the past then back to present again.

On her second try she meets Wyatt Earp the man who she read about as a child and idolized.

Soon Tori was going back again and again to see the famed lawman and eventually fell in love with him. The day of the gunfight Tori goes back in time and the rumors that had passed down through the generations were there and all the mysteries were gone. She began to realize that those in the present were a part of the past and more.

The author has done a wonderful job with this story and it's not only a love story but it captures the imagination of all those who love a good romance with a historical flavor. The characters are presented so strongly we feel we know them. I do hope we seem more of this author's work.
