| When Astrid's father has a stroke, she goes to keep an eye on his gallery of antiquities. When she goes to inspect some of the pieces and touches them, she is thrown back in time to ancient Egypt and in the body of another woman. There she will explore a love unlike any other as Seshat and the man she loves Mermeshu. Even as their love grows conspirators plot to keep them a part. Will they get to be together and what will happen when Astrid comes back to her own body?
All Our Yesterdays: Egypt is a very interesting look at past lives. The focus is on Astrid who lives the life of another woman with all the heart breaking experiences. There is great insight into Egypt and the lives of it's people. This book is very short and non-stop can be read in about an hour. This is the start of a series and ends in a way where you can't help but want to read the next installment. This book will hold your interest from start to finish and I can't wait to see Janet Walters comes up with for the next book in the series.
