Bruno and Renee are both well developed characters. I loved that Bruno had faith in his abilities and his control over the elements. He'd noticed that Renee had the same gift. She needed education and training to realize it, but it was there. I thought Bruno was so very virile, the ultimate bad boy wet dream in leather on a motorcycle. The women in the bar where the pack met before the challenge made it obvious Renee was the envy of every woman in the pack when they saw that Bruno had claimed her. He exuded his pride and satisfaction in her. The strength of their characters was revealed when they broke with tradition by not evicting the newly widowed former queen from the large house the pack owned for the leader to live in. Renee preferred being loved to being queen and Bruno had loved her since they were children. He knew that Renee needed to be claimed hard and fast, completely, once and for all. He quickly discovered it didn't change after he'd claimed her. She was more passionate than he'd dared hope, which afforded the reader a lot of panty dampening sex scenes. Elements Unbound is an exciting and titillating read. Definitely one for the keeper shelf.
