Kate Hill writes another gripping tale in her series on the vampire drag band The Elixir Maidens. The characters are well developed and offer the fans of male/male love stories a glimpse of two men fighting the losing battle of love. The wedding becomes a background to a relationship resurected between Nigel and Daniel. This has been a long time coming. Nigel is a persistant man determined not to let life's challenges get in the way of his or his daughter's happiness. Daniel is a stubborn, classy man determined not to settle for less than he feels he deserves. The Elixir Maidens add to the story by trying to get both men to open their eyes to the possibility of a future together. The erotic scenes between Nigel and Daniel are done in a tasteful way. This is a terrific book filled with hope, laughs and sensuality.
