Embracing the Wolf

Paranormal romance

Kate works hard to keep a roof over the heads of herself and her son and food in their tummies, working the twilight shift as a waitress so she can be with Joey during the day. When a masked man enters her workplace with his strange looking dog, Kate follows instinct and tries to save her colleagues.

Richard has known and lived with werewolves his entire life, part of a family who battle against the evil side of the race. Owning a private investigation firm and working with the police, Richard however has never been tempted to take on the role of werewolf. Until the night he follows a lead to an ongoing police investigation and meets Kate.

Richard knows that Kate will be in danger until the man who shot her has been caught. He works with a wolf that seems to be collecting women and he is determined to keep her safe. He knows the best way to do that is to let his brother bite him. Kate has feelings for a man for the first time since she became pregnant as a teenager. But is it real? Or is it just because of the situation she has found herself in?

Richard is a man in every I-know-what-is-best sense of the word, determined to protect both Kate and her son, dealing with the changes in his body due to his wolf bite, and facing the chemistry between him and Kate he, needless to say, makes a few mistakes.

Kate knows there is chemistry between them but can she risk Joey's heart if that is all it is? What if Richard doesn't want her after they are safe? How can she stop Joey from becoming attached? Kate is an amazingly independent and intelligent woman who has had a tough life and is stronger because of it. Richard is a strong, loyal and completely faithful man who gives up his humanity for Kate and Joey.

What beautifully written story, full of humour, sexy wolves and enough intrigue to keep you hooked from page one.
