Shortly after birth, Lady Ginevra was betrothed to Lord Wolfram. Ginevra spent her life knowing who she is to marry. The last thing she expected was for Lord Wolfram to capture her heart. In child-like fancy, she tried her best to reform herself into what he would want in a bride, only to be put off and cast aside time and time again.

Lord Wolfram sacrificed his needs to marry Ginevra. As the second son of the Count of Whetshire, his life was cast into familial duty early on. Ever since he was eight years old he had rebelled against the idea that for everyone else there was a choice, but for him life had been decided. Steeling himself against his feelings for Ginevra, he spent years in battle and in the pursuit of other women. Upon the death of his beloved older brother in battle, he could no longer deny his duty and their marriage. He became a man cursed with a child-bride; one whom he could not escape his feelings for.

"Wolfe" constantly battles himself, his duty to his family and to others in protecting his land, his king and his honour. His internal battles are captivating and although his demeanor is one of a hard life, he has the ability to laugh. When he is at his very best, his most unbelievable, Wolfe succeeds in capturing your heart. When he falters, you see the person he really is and you fall even deeper into his spell. His honour and duty have no bounds, but will he finally take what he has always craved?

Ginevra grows from a hoyden to a lady to please her betrothed. She fights with every ounce of her being to be not only the wife he needs, the noblewoman, but also to be true to herself. She's outspoken and opinionated but so filled with forgiveness. I could not help but associate myself with a bit of Gin's life, even if it was so removed from modern life.

Ms. Pillow succeeded in bringing her words to life. This book breathes, screams, and compels you to finish it. This is a spectacular Epic story about love growing in spite of everything a love separated by duty, age, time and the very natures of Wolfe and Gin. This story captures your attention until you can no longer remember that Gin and Wolfe are characters instead of living souls. Awesome, do not miss!
