EMT Brian is surprised to learn that his friend ER doctor Stephen is having marriage problems. Brian offers to listen to Stephen’s problems one night after work and learns that Stephen is quite possibly gay. When Stephen’s wife asks him for a divorce Brian offers to rent him a room. Brian has always been attracted to Stephen but is unsure about starting anything with Stephen because of his recent divorce. Brian tries to help Stephen explore his sexuality, but things become complicated when Brian finds out that Stephen has been attracted to him. Can the two men start a real relationship or is Stephen just using Brian to learn how he really feels about men?

I enjoyed this story. It is a sweet and spicy story about two friends who are trying to find true love. The plot is well written and not complicated or hard to follow but does keep the reader’s attention. The only thing I had a little trouble with was that Stephen did not have any unpleasant experiences with coming out, their world was just a little too perfect. The author makes the relationship between the Brian and Stephen believable because they were good friends before they ever try to become involved, which is the best foundation for any relationship. I thought it was sweet the way Brian tries to help Stephen figure himself out by leaving materials around the house for him like gay porn and sex manuals and puts his own feeling aside like a true friend. I also liked the way Stephen was shy about talking about his feelings and tended to blush a lot at first and then it slowly goes away as he becomes comfortable with himself. There is some hot m/m sex scenes between the two men that are not for the faint of heart, as some are quite detailed, but well written and fit well with the story. This a great story for those days you don’t want to read anything to deep or long.
