The BDSM elements are interesting and enlightening, written in such a way that Emma, along with the reader, acquires an understanding of the facets of domination and submission. The main characters, Emma, Logan and Jace are appealing individuals that really seem to leap from the pages into fully appreciated people that the reader can care about. Ms. Blake perfectly keeps the fast pace moving right along with astute dialogue, plenty of delightful antics and a steamy sensuality creating a story that is intoxicating and a not-to-be missed read. All three characters emotions run deep and there sense of honor is top-notch. The very submissive Emma is very contradictory with her need for independence and her self-confidence yet she puts her trust in Jace and Logan's hands where she finds true joy and happiness she didn't realize was missing in her life. Friends, Jace and Logan are devilishly sexy dominant masters whose bold characters demand the attention of the reader. The instant chemistry between Emma and her Masters is intense and exciting. The BDSM scenes are varied and work well to evolve the characters as well as the relationship between them. Emma's ex-boyfriend and the menacing danger he portrays to her falls a little flat and becomes a little predictable but it's still a gripping.
