Shyra Thompson is a no nonsense woman who carved her way from nothing into a postition as Vice President at Radiant Star Cosmetics. On her way to work, she is accosted by an alien named Pantheon who is immortal outside of Earth boundaries. The only son to the emperor, his mission was to acquire Earth women for birthing children for his dying race. An old world dominance man collides with modern day woman until she teaches him how to love.

This is the first book I have read from this author and I found this story charming, but if it were longer, it could have developed into an excellent story. The plot was interesting but underdeveloped. The pacing was good until the end where it felt rushed with some points where never resolved. The setting is both futuristic when they return to his home planet and modern day while on Earth. The flow of the dialogue was good. Each character had its own voice. The sex scenes in this story were mildly descriptive.
