| Breanna is a tough; take charge starship captain - the perfect military careerist. She is also a woman of strong passions and a secret past. Together, they go on a mission to find out what happened to a 'ghost ship'. Only two out of roughly one hundred colonists survive a bizarre accident far from civilization - no one knows why. In the course of their adventures, they are trapped on the (seemingly) deserted ship and many of their team are killed and/or lose their minds. The reason why is buried deep in the bowels of the ship.
I am a science fiction buff (and so perhaps a bit biased), but this is a solid science fiction story with a romantic sub-plot. Heat pours off our lead characters. This is steamy and explicit - not for the faint of heart. The story was so interesting and strong that I was disappointed when it ended so soon. I would have liked for it to be developed more deeply. Greater detail, depth and character development would have made this even better.
